    I need taken to be out like right now! I’ve read all three Ava books this week and need more asap!!! I love your characters. I read a lot of the young adult supernatural books and your are refreshingly unique!!! I’l be checking barnes and noble .com daily till taken is available 🙂

      I have been waiting n waiting for the fourth book to come out, now that it’s here and I’m done reading it; no matter how much i tried to prolonged refuge book I’m done it (sigh) 😦 now is there going to b a 5th book?

              Sarah, I don’t know. Lol. I can’t remember the dates I posted, but they’re somewhere on the blog. I couldn’t get an editing slot until March or May (I’ll have to check), but if my editor gets any earlier spaces, she’ll offer me one.

                What are the 5th and 6th books going to be called? I cant wait for them to come as ebooks… my hunger for reading never ends, especially for the Ava Delaney series!!!! 😀

                  Hey, Victoria. So far, I’ve been calling the books Taste and Traitor. It’s possible one will change before release, but those are their names right now. 🙂

                    any idea when They’ll be out? I bought Vol 1 and taken as well two days ago and have already finished. I can’t wait to read more.

                      Thanks for reading them. 🙂 I have an editing slot booked for my other series in February, and the next Ava book in March. If an earlier slot opens up, things will move ahead quicker. I can’t give an estimated date for the last book yet, but I will likely have a better idea in the next couple of months, depending on how the others go.

    I read all three Ava Delaney books in a matter of days this winter. I put a reminder in my phone’s calender to check in July to see if the fourth book had been released yet. I did a happy dance when I saw the reminder pop up but now I am hanging in suspense. Ha ha! : ) I cannot wait to read Taken. You are an AMAZING author. Keep up the great work!

    What a wonderful series so far! I was hooked on the first one and had bought the next three in succession within a week! I can not wait to see where Ava’s journey takes her next. And I have to say I love Finn to! It would be cool to see the Fae bartender in the next book 🙂

    I just finished TAKEN. Well done Claire!! Bravo! I loved it! I can not wait for the next one. You have such an incredible talent. I am in love with all your books. I have them all. I loved your short stories too. Amazing!!! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to escape my own life for just a moment in time while I live in ava’s world or the werewolves world. Loving it!!! Keep up the good work! So glad your water is drinkable now, and I hope the kids are loving school! I hope they know how wonderful their mother is. Their Mother brings so much joy to so many!     I spotted the first book for free download on B&N. I couldn’t stop reading all day! I went back the next day and happily paid for the other books. I am impressed with not only the details of Ava’s background but also how well you bring each character to life. Thank you Ms. Farrell! I look forward to reading more.

    Ok i jus finished taken…….. wow is all i can say. I didnt even realize i was done with the book untill there was no more. ( i have a nook. Lol ) its very easy to get lost in a book wen u dont have to keep track of pages. Lol.
    Wat is the next book going to be called and can i pre order?

    Hey Claire! Just read Taken. Bravo!! Can’t wait for Taste! I got into a weird argument with my friend about which series was better Ava Delaney or Twilight. ^u^ Needless to say I TOTALLY won that one! Thanks for keeping me so hooked! Don’t keep us waiting too long so I can rub my friends face in your total awesomeness!

          Oh no! Don’t get me wrong, the series kicks major booty! (^v^ Hee! Hee! I said booty!) I am determined to make part of the available reading material @ my old high school. A movie would make this series a little more permanent to everyone though. I think this story merits more than a quick read then being buried in your memory. Its enough drama, secrets, and romance to keep any general audience more than content. Just think it over, what is there to lose by just trying?

              I agree a television series would be better. When doing movies they cut so much from the book and alter it so much that you hate the movies bc of how much the story line had been changed although, there has been a book series that I had read that was turned into a tv series and they pretty much took the characters from the book but changed the whole plot line…. Needless to say I was royally peeved about that bc I loved the book series! Hopefully If you do turn it into a movie or tv series don’t let them talk you into changing much. I know that is a peeve of a lot of people they can’t stand when the whole story is changed from how it was in the book. =D

    Thank you for writing such a exciting series. My daughter and I share books and we both agreed that this series stomps twilight. We are big fans of twilight too, but the adventure you give us leaves us wanting more. Hope they make a movie out of your series or a mini series. Can’t wait for the next books. Thank you Connie

    I don’t like to read much and have only read seven books cover to cover, four of them being yours. The Ava Delaney books are great. I can kinda relate with Peter and hope to see more with them to come. And I hope there are a few more times Ava needs a little blood rush too. Hulk it up for the guy fans. Lol…

    I can not wait for the 5th and 6th books to come out on ebook for kindle! I read 1-4 in the past week and was really hoping the others had been published already! Your Ava Delaney Series is amazing! I love following the relationship between Ava and Peter and now his son Emmet! Can’t wait to find out more about what will happen between them! =D

    Please tell me it won´t take long till the 5th book. I felt so good when Ava finally got her way at the end of the last one… And I really want to know it we are going to see more of Shay… and so many other things my imagination is working out. I mean, is Peter ever going to show some feelings for Ava or is he just going to continue messing up with her? And gosh what’s wrong with Eddie and his souls????

      It will be a while yet, but don’t worry, Shay and others may turn up in other non-Ava books.

      I’m doing my best to wrap up every question I can think of in the last two books so hopefully you’ll be satisfied by the end. 😀

    I absolutely loved all four Ava Delaney books and I have to say I’ve lost many sleep hours staying up late reading them. I’ve also caught a few people on the subway staring at me as I read the books on my i Pad and I’m guessing it’s because of the expression on my face as I was reading. The last book Taken left me on the edge of my seat (on the train). I read an earlier comment that mentioned a 5th and 6th book and I really hope that’s true. You are absolutely amazing and I will start reading all four books again to get any details I may have missed.

    Any new information on when Taste will be released this month? I’m so excited and so impatient! I want to read it so badly. I want to know what happens! Ava finally stands up for herself and now there is Emmet and things seem to be getting serious with Peter. I hope it continues! agh! The suspense is driving me crazy! LOL
